Join Fellow LWVRBA Members for the “Good Trouble Lives On!” Protest at the Clock Tower in Schaumburg
On the anniversary of John Lewis’s passing, LWVRBA will stand up for democracy and civil rights as part of the Good Trouble Lives On national day of nonviolent action.
Thursday, July 17 | 5–7 PM
Schaumburg Clock Tower (corner of Schaumburg & Roselle Roads)
From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to efforts to criminalize protest, we are experiencing a coordinated attack on our fundamental freedoms. This protest is our response.
This is our moment to speak out — nonviolently, powerfully, together. This isn’t just a demonstration. It’s a moral stand. Let’s carry forward the legacy of Congressman Lewis and remind the nation that the power lies with the people.
