LWVVC was well represented at Volusia County's State of the County Luncheon during which the team met our new county council members and learned about last years successes and challenges due to the enormous hurricane damages from Ian and Nicole.
LWVVC members enjoyed a gala holiday social at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art. The event, organized the social chair Cathy Egley, included a yummy buffet and great conversation with friends.

Our 2022 annual meeting luncheon was held on May 14th at the LPGA Ballroom. This was our first in-person annual meeting since 2019 and members expressed excitement at being back together.
Earlier this year, members of LWVVC Social Justice and Education Action teams attended a community forum on Critical Race Theory (CRT) which was held at Bethune Cookman University. Moderated by Dr.
